FAQ
Is there a rubber duck emoji?
Not yet. As of Emoji 18.0 (2026) there is no yellow rubber duck emoji, so people combine π¦ with π or use the yellow π₯ instead.
What is the difference between π₯, π€ and π£?
π₯ faces you with its wings out, π€ is shown from the side, and π£ is just hatching from its egg. π£ is also used to mean "newbie" or a fresh start.
What is the Ξ in (γ»Ξγ»)?
It is the Greek letter theta, used as a little beak. This Japanese-style face works for ducks, chicks and small birds.
Why does πͺΏ show up as a box?
The goose πͺΏ was added in 2022, so older devices may not support it yet. Use π¦ or π¦’ instead.
